Independent Health Care Service (IHCS) is fully ready for the major aged care reforms starting November 1, 2025. The new Support at Home program replaces the Home Care Packages Program, bringing more choice, better access, and a fairer system to help you stay living independently at home longer.

🛡️ For Our Existing IHCS Clients
If you were approved for an HCP or on the waiting list by September 12, 2024, the 'no worse off principle' protects you. You will transition seamlessly with equivalent funding and will not face increased costs due to this reform.
IHCS will personally review your case to ensure your transition is smooth and transparent.
